Rainbow

Rainbow is a natural phenomenon that occurs after every rain. Rainbows are beautiful colors of light of various colors that appear parallel to each other in the sky. The rainbow is curved from one end to the other. Rainbows also have certain types, namely primary and secondary rainbows. Primary rainbow is a rainbow that occurs due to a reflection of rainwater that has the strongest color. Meanwhile, a secondary rainbow is a rainbow that occurs because of the reflection of light twice or more.

The process of the rainbow itself is caused by the refraction of sunlight by the water droplets. Rainbows only occur during the day. That’s the reason why rainbows won’t be found at night. Without sunlight there would never be a rainbow. Apart from sunlight, the lack of rain is also the main cause of rainbows which act as optical illusions. .

In the beginning, the process of the rainbow comes from sunlight passing through a raindrop. Then the raindrop strays away from the particles, and is refracted into various colors through the middle of the raindrop so that it separates the white light into a spectrum of colors. The light on each color of the rainbow will be bent at different angles which will give a beautiful color to the rainbow

Therefore, various colors of the rainbow are formed. Each rainbow color will be deflected at a different angle. The first one to deflect is purple, and the last one is red. And other rainbow colors such as yellow, green, orange, blue, indigo will follow in full in the process of decomposing the color. This is what will form the curved rainbow like a bow.

Rainbows can only be seen after the rain along with the sun. But it must be from the opposite direction that is between the sun and the water droplets with the sun’s position behind the observer in a straight line. Rainbows can also be seen clearly around the waterfall. There are so many people who like rainbows, no wonder the rainbow is used as a universal symbol of joy.
